New Study Shows Tap Water In Belgrade Is Safe

Over the weekend, B92 ran an article noting that tap water in Belgrade is safe for drinking. It notes that the most recent analysis on water quality were presented by the Belgrade Institute of Public Health. The report says that water quality was determined by collecting and analyzing 6678 water samples in 2008. The results show that there is no bacteriological contamination. This is hardly the first time we’ve seen such a report, but it seems like each report is progressively better. Belgrade is a place where tourists are told it is safe to drink water from the tap. And that seems to be true.
