A Wonderful Trip To Eastern Serbia

Reader Ivana sent in a fascinating post from a little while back by Xina, an American woman from Brigantine, New Jersey, who had a wonderful trip to Eastern Serbia. It’s long, but well worth watching/reading. In the post, Xina describes her fantastic trip to the Heart of Serbia. She visited the towns of Pozarevac “To my surprise there is an amazing amount of Roman ruins in Serbia!“, Viminacium, Petrovac, Zagubica “We wound our way through beautiful countryside, mountains and valleys for a couple hours or so finally stopping at an exceptionally charming, rustic little site.“, Bor, Gamzigrad, Romuliana “This place was truly a wonder!“.

She concluded her trip to Eastern Serbia by making a stop in the town of Cuprija (150 km south of Belgrade and 90 km north of Niš) “All and all this was an awesome place to visit. Really lovely.” All in all, it seems that it was one of the most relaxing, enjoyable vacation Xina has ever taken. “In all – a truly fantastic trip! We got home near midnight and were all exhausted, but we had seen so many things and really had a great time. I could not have asked for a better experience.
