An Oasis In The City: Kalemegdan - Belgrade
Kalemegdan is the oasis of Belgrade with beautiful promenades and amazing views. I love the fact that locals can use it to picnic, walk their children, meet their lovers and escape from the city for a while. I also wonder where else in the world, tourists can enter such a monument for free.

I love the view from Kalemegdan, especially the sunsets! Any time of day’s good though, but I always find myself sitting there imagining all the pepole that have been there before me over the hundreds of years. It’s incredibly evocative on its own, but if those walls could talk ..aah what stories!
