Getting Off-The-Beaten-Path: Serbia
A London based tour operator specialising in off-the-beaten-track destinations, Travel The Unknown, organises trip to little-known area of the world, from the remote tribes of unseen North East India, coffee plantations of Colombia to the dramatic landscapes of Eastern Turkey and the ancient heritage of Syria, Lebanon and Jordan. Each aspect of their tours has been personally researched, and they traveled to Serbia last summer for their research trip. Now, Travel The Unknown has launched tours to Serbia, “one of Europe’s truly undiscovered destinations”: Seven-night Devils Town & The Danube tour. I like the way they paint Serbia:
Once in the news for the wrong reasons, Serbia sees little in the way of tourists despite a pletora of existing places to visit – from the cosmopolitain, easy-going Belgrade to its spetacular Orthodox monasteries, from the beautiful landscapes of Devil’s Town to the rustic wine cellar village at Rajac. Be one of the first to experience the unique charms of this fascinating country.
Well, there’s a reason why Travel The Unknown organises trip to Serbia. It’s because Serbia is a place worth visiting. That said, if it’s featured online, and if a tour goes here, you probably aren’t getting off the beaten path. But, is that really so bad?

Hi Karl,
I can assure you that this trip gets very off the beaten track. While travelling around this region I came across very few other tourists despite the exciting sites and very friendly welcome from the wonderful Serbian people.
All the best,
David
