Last week, in the comments (Facebook) on our post calling on Serbs to come back home, a commenter named Marija Tisma pointed out that “It is difficult to leave but it is more difficult to come back…” Well, it looks like it’s not as difficult as it seems! Ivana Vuckovic moved back from China to Serbia. It’s been over a year since she moved back, and she put up a blog post – One year in Serbia. Most asked q&a – talking about the questions on moving back to Serbia she gets asked the most Here’s an excerpt from Ivana Vuckovic’s blog post, but it’s worth reading the whole thing:
Q3: “what do you think about Serbia and life here now that you are back?”
A3: Lot of opportunities. I can apply a lot of things I learned abroad. Things are not moving along as fast as in China, but things are moving along. Serbia is thirsty for knowledge and that is a great thing! people here are smart and passionate and I am enjoying myself.
Ivana Vuckovic should be congratulated, and should inspire other Serbs living abroad to follow suit.
