We’ve written in the past about John Paul Schutz, an office management specialist for the US Foreign Service working and living in Serbia with his wife Serena, and his 3-year-old son, Grayson. He enjoyed Mexican food in Belgrade, and found Serbia to be kid friendly. Well, John Paul Schutz recently finished his assignment in Belgrade, and put up a short post pointing out that it’s hard to leave Belgrade, a great city full of great people:
Wow. I can’t believe it’s time to go. Today officially marks the end of my time in Belgrade… and it’s incredibly hard to believe. For those of you who have never been, Belgrade is worth looking into. Seriously. it’s a great town, full of great people and I enjoyed my time here immensely. Oh sure, I’ll be back. I’ll be back over the holidays to give Serena and my boys some love… but as for work? I can stick a fork in it.
So yes, once in Belgrade, it’s hard to leave.
