It looks like there are amazing fashion designers in Serbia. Eric Waroll, a fashion addict living in Paris, wrote a blog post about Serbian fashion designer Ivana Pilja:
It would be too simplistic to say that the best fashion talents are in New York, Paris, Milan or Tokyo. After Marz Atashi and Hissa Igarashi, here’s a new talent that I would like to introduce you: Ivana Pilja. This new fashion designer and graduate of the “College of Design” in Belgrade, Serbia, Ivana Pilja has recently presented her first collection inspired by Japanese fashion and origami. When I saw the entire collection, I immediately felt in love with it.

Of course I agree with Waroll. That said, don’t forget to check out Ivana Pilja’s website, and also the Belgrade Fashion Week list of designers and labels from Serbia. Yes, there are amazing fashion designers in Serbia!
