Ok food wasn't rated highly in the hotels as it was mass produced but the local restuarants with some of the best traditional dishes in Serbija were well worth exploring. The local home made brandy Medveja Krv is lethal after 3 so steer clear of until your on the lower slopes.
The ski runs throughout the season were well groomed and had snow right up to the end of the season with good depth on the lower ,middle and higher slopes. All runs remained open throughout the season.
The two ski schools were run brilliantly with some of the best instructors in Europe.Many spoke english fluently with no problems.
Nightlife was brilliant and even for those who went to bed early there were plenty of activities and apres ski to choose from or you could party in the local disco at the Konaci into the early hours of the morning.Going to the bakery for burek/kifle and kiselo mleko at 4am was a highlight and not to be missed.
Great hotel well worth staying is the Grand and its location is ski to door with the lifts only 50 metres away.
