Before, during, and after the Kosovo war (1999) 1800 people dissapeared, 1300 non Albanians.
Two of them were Serbs, Todor and Lazar Kostic, brothers of Ulgica Kostic Bozanovic. Todor and Lazar Kostic were seized by Uçk (Kosovo Liberation Army) militia (a Kosovar Albanian nationalist organization) from the villages of Retimilje and Opterusa in July 1998.
