You light your home thanks to a Serbian inventor: Nikola Tesla

Serbian inventor Nikola Tesla designed the first hydroelectric power plant at Niagara Falls, which started producing electrical power in 1895. This was the beginning of the electrification of the United States and the rest of the world. Nikola Tesla actually allowed for people to cheaply use electricity to power appliances and light their homes.

Yes, Nikola Tesla was one of the greatest inventors of all time. And yes, my American, Russian, Brazilian, etc. friends, you light your home thanks to a Serbian inventor.

I'm a Frenchman promoting Serbia in the world. I see myself as a Serb. Call me crazy. Call me insane. I am a pragmatic patriot. I love my country, Serbia.

  1. I’m flabbergasted that even Serbs continue to be so slow to promote one of their own, i.e. genious inventor Nikola Tesla – the AC guy. Thanks to a very successful fundraising drive, there are now plans for a Nikola Tesla Museum in New York State. All of us, let’s at long last get onto the Nikola Tesla bandwagon, and remain there.
